DRYING AND REFRACTORIES

Monolithic refractories are typically installed in the field, and to achieve the desired refractory properties, the material needs to be dried to remove the water contained within the refractory to obtain ceramic bonds within the lining. The drying process allows the refractory material installed in the final lining to attain the specified physical properties.
